Individual, Relationship & Sex Therapy Services

Let’s work together to help you put words to what you’re feeling, find tools that actually work for you, and build a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and true to who you are.

Therapy Services Supporting Individual, Relationship and Sexual Health

Therapy should be a place where you can slow down, feel seen and understood, and talk honestly about what’s happening in your life and relationships. At NOS Counseling, I offer specialized support for individuals, couples, and people in diverse relationship structures, including monogamous, polyamorous, open, queer, and kink-affirming communities.

Because emotional and sexual connection are deeply intertwined, I’m uniquely trained to support relationship dynamics and sexual concerns together. This means couples don’t have to work with multiple therapists to get the help they actually need, everything can be addressed in one grounded, affirming space.

With over 15 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor and AASECT certified sex
therapist, I can help you put words to what you are feeling, find tools that actually work for wholehearted
living, and build a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and true to who you are.

Individual Therapy

Support for Identity, Emotional Health, Transitions & Personal Growth

Individual therapy is a place to reconnect with yourself and rebuild clarity. Together, we explore what’s getting in the way of the life you want and support you in creating change at a sustainable pace. This work often focuses on emotional balance, shame, identity, boundaries, and understanding your needs in connection with others.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Building more self-compassion, mindfulness, and emotional grounding

  • Managing ongoing stress, anxiety, depression, or mood swings

  • Understanding your feelings, needs, and relational patterns

  • Differentiating from emotionally immature parents (including narcissistic or BPD traits)

  • Feeling stuck in shame, isolation, or perfectionism

  • Prioritizing mental health, personal growth, and well-being

  • Learning to set boundaries, say “no,” or express anger in healthy ways

  • Exploring sexuality, gender identity, or relationship structures

  • Navigating major life transitions—breakups, career shifts, parenthood, and more

  • Healing religious indoctrination and exploring your own spiritual path

Relationship Therapy

Support for Couples & Partners in All Relationship Styles

Every relationship carries deep longing—for connection, trust, safety, and intimacy. Whether you’re in a monogamous partnership, exploring polyamory, practicing ethical non-monogamy, or navigating a non-traditional relationship structure, therapy offers a grounded space to understand your dynamic and build tools that support long-term connection.

I specialize in the overlap between emotional intimacy and sexual connection, and many couples work with me because I’m able to address relationship patterns and sexual concerns together in the same space.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Creating healthier, more open communication

  • Balancing individual needs with the needs of the relationship

  • Navigating conflict with respect, care, and clarity

  • Deepening emotional intimacy and mutual understanding

  • Rebuilding trust after ruptures, dishonesty, or infidelity

  • Untangling patterns of codependency, enmeshment, or disconnection

  • Rekindling or renegotiating sexual connection and desire

  • Working through differences around money, parenting, or life goals

  • Navigating cultural, racial, or spiritual differences between partners

  • Exploring separation, conscious uncoupling, or divorce

Sex Therapy

A Sex-Positive Approach to Desire, Identity, Pleasure & Connection

Sex therapy is a space to talk openly about the parts of your sexual life that feel confusing, stuck, painful, or difficult to share with others. Many clients come in feeling alone or unsure where to start—my role is to help you understand what’s happening, reduce shame, and create a more satisfying and connected sexual life.

For many people, sexual challenges and relationship dynamics influence each other. When helpful, I integrate sex therapy and couples work so you can understand the full picture without needing multiple providers.

This work is inclusive of LGBTQIA+ identities, kink/BDSM communities, and all forms of ethical non-monogamy.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Enhancing sexual health, pleasure, and presence

  • Affirming LGBTQIA+ identities, including coming-out support

  • Navigating mismatched libido, desire differences, or sexual preferences

  • Addressing out-of-control sexual behaviors (including pornography use)

  • Understanding asexuality, graysexuality, and other sexual orientations

  • Managing physical challenges such as pain during sex or erection/ejaculation difficulties

  • Supporting ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, open relationships, swinging, and relationship anarchy

  • Rebuilding trust after broken agreements or boundaries

  • Exploring BDSM, power dynamics, and kink as identity or lifestyle

  • Addressing mental health impacts on sexual connection, such as anxiety or depression

Intentional Parenting

Intentional Parenting & Family Systems

Parenting can bring joy, complexity, and moments of deep self-reflection. This work helps you understand your own emotional landscape while supporting the growth, â€‹independence, and well-being of your children. Together, we look at the patterns you grew up with, what you want to shift, and how to stay grounded through the challenges of raising kids.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Navigating co-parenting, single parenting, blended families, and step-parenting

  • Balancing structure, routines, and growing independence

  • Understanding how your childhood impacts your parenting

  • Creating healthy boundaries that prevent enmeshment

  • Addressing behavioral challenges at home or school

  • Supporting your child’s physical, emotional, and social development

  • Having open, age-appropriate conversations about sex, puberty, and identity

  • Encouraging secure attachment, responsibility, and autonomy

  • Attuning to your child’s needs and what matters most to them

  • Discerning neurodivergence (autism, ADHD)

  • Adjusting to “empty nest” transitions and reconnecting with yourself
